TITLE : SEO SPECIALIST
LOCATION : CHENNAI
We’re looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to lead organic growth and boost search visibility across our digital ecosystem. This role blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable impact. You’ll work across content, web, and product marketing teams to implement best practices, conduct in-depth analyses, and uncover opportunities that keep us ahead of the competition.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement innovative SEO strategies to improve keyword rankings, grow organictraffic, and meet business objectives.
- Perform keyword research and content gap analyses to uncover new opportunities and inform content strategy.
- Conduct technical SEO audits, including site speed, indexation, crawlability, canonicalization,hreflang, meta content, XML sitemaps, redirects, and structured data.
- Monitor and analyze organic performance, keyword rankings, and website traffic using SEO and analytics tools.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on performance trends, competitor analyses, and audits.
- Work with internal dev teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed during web builds, redesigns, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with content and editorial teams to ensure content is SEO-friendly, high-quality, and aligned with target keywords and user intent.
- Plan and execute strategic link-building initiatives to strengthen domain authority and visibility.
- Regularly analyse backlink profiles and recommend tactics to improve off-page SEO.
MUST HAVE
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, including strategy development, technical SEO, and content optimisation
- SaaS or B2B experience is a plus, but not required.
- Proven track record of improving keyword rankings and driving measurable organic traffic growth
- Strong experience conducting keyword research, content audits, and competitive analyses to inform SEO strategy
- Deep understanding of technical SEO concepts, including crawlability, indexation, site speed, redirects, canonical tags, structured data, hreflang, and XML sitemaps
- Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4),SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms
- Familiarity working with web developers and understanding of how SEO integrates with HTML, JavaScript, and CMS platforms
- Experience partnering with content, editorial, or marketing teams to develop and optimize SEO-friendly content
- Demonstrated success in building and executing effective link-building strategies and conducting backlink profile audits
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team alignment
